Target Information
TOR1AIP2 단백질은 두 가지 아이소폼 중 하나로, type II integral membrane protein 형태로 소포체(ER)에 존재합니다.
이 단백질은 ATPase TorsinA의 보조인자로 작용하여, TorsinA의 ER 및 핵막 내 분포를 조절합니다.
이 단백질의 결함은 조기 발병 근긴장이상(primary dystonia)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
다른 아이소폼은 interferon alpha에 반응하는 단백질로, 세포 내 역할은 아직 명확히 규명되지 않았습니다.
