Product Specific Information

The 28-14-8 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse MHC class I, H-2D^b, and cross-reacts with H-2L^d, H-2D^q, and/or H-2L^q. Binding to the alpha 3 domain of H-2L^d is independent of beta2-microglobulin.

Each product includes:

  • 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
  • 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10^5–10^8 cells/test). Titrate for optimal performance.

Important Notes:

  • NovaFluor dyes are incompatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
  • Recommended viability stains: Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains.
  • Use CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) for optimal staining. Add 5 µL per sample for antibody cocktails or single-color controls.
  • NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology for engineered fluorescent signatures with minimal spillover and spread.
