ZNF598 (E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase ZNF598)은 리보솜 품질 관리(RQC) 경로에서 중요한 역할을 하는 단백질입니다. RQC는 번역 중 리보솜이 정지할 때 발생하며, ZNF598은 리보솜 단백질 RPS10/eS10 및 RPS3/uS3의 단일 유비퀴틴화를 매개하여 폴리(A) 서열 번역 중 단백질 합성을 멈추게 하고 비정상적인 폴리펩타이드의 분해를 유도합니다.
