Target Information
P5는 인간에서 처음 확인된 새로운 단백질로, 특정 단백질에 대한 펩타이드 결합 능력과 샤페론 활성을 갖습니다. P5는 소포체(ER)의 주요 단백질인 PDI와 구조적으로 유사하며, ER 유지 신호 KDEL을 포함합니다. 또한 산화환원효소 활성을 담당하는 두 개의 CXXC 유사 모티프를 가지며, 각각 단백질의 N-말단과 C-말단에 위치합니다. 연구 결과에 따르면 N-말단의 CXXC 모티프가 이성화 효소 활성에 더 중요합니다. 대부분의 PDI 유사 단백질과 달리 P5는 스트레스 유도성이 없습니다.
