Target Information
Membrane-associated guanylate kinase with inverted orientation (MAGI3) is a 130 kDa guanylate kinase belonging to a family of multi-PDZ domain-containing proteins. These kinases localize to epithelial cell tight junctions. MAGI3 cooperates with PTEN/MMAC to regulate AKT/protein kinase B activity, influencing cell proliferation and survival. MAGI3 includes an N-terminal guanylate kinase domain, a WW domain, and five PDZ domains.
