Target Information
TNPO2는 핵 단백질 수입에 관여하는 핵 수송 수용체로 작용합니다. NLS(nuclear localization signals)를 인식하여 수송 복합체를 핵공복합체(NPC)에 도킹시키며, Ran 의존적 기전에 의해 핵으로 이동합니다. 핵 내에서는 Ran-GTP가 importin과 결합하여 복합체를 분리시키고, importin은 Ran-GDP 상태로 세포질로 재수출됩니다. 이러한 Ran의 GTP/GDP 형태의 비대칭 분포가 핵 수입의 방향성을 결정합니다.
