Target Information
The SH3GL1 gene encodes a protein containing SH2 and SOCS BOX domains. It belongs to the suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) family, also known as STAT-induced STAT inhibitor (SSI). SOCS proteins are cytokine-inducible negative regulators of cytokine signaling. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
