Target Information
RGS14는 G-단백질 신호 조절자(regulator of G-protein signaling) 패밀리에 속하며, 하나의 RGS 도메인, 두 개의 Raf-like Ras-binding 도메인(RBDs), 그리고 하나의 GoLoco 도메인을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 GoLoco 도메인을 통해 활성화된 GTP-bound Gα 서브유닛에 결합하여 GTP를 GDP로 전환시키는 속도를 증가시키며, 이를 통해 신호를 종결시킵니다.
또한 RGS14는 미세소관 중합 및 방추체 조직화를 조절하며, 세포 분열과 신경 성장 인자(NGF) 매개 신경돌기 발아에 관여합니다.
