Product Specific Information
- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.
- For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below.

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum, purified and partially purified Albumin (Bovine Serum).
Cross-reactivity against Albumin from other tissues and species may occur but has not been specifically determined.
Target Information
Albumin is a soluble, monomeric protein that comprises about half of blood serum protein.
It functions as a carrier for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones, and stabilizes extracellular fluid volume.
Albumin is a globular, unglycosylated serum protein (MW ~65,000), synthesized in the liver as preproalbumin, which is processed to proalbumin and then secreted as mature albumin.
