Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The CHD4 gene product belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family and is a main component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase complex. It plays an important role in epigenetic transcriptional repression. Patients with dermatomyositis may develop antibodies against this protein.
