Recombinant human MCP-3 is a non-glycosylated protein containing 76 amino acids.
Reconstitute using sterile water at 0.1 mg/mL and centrifuge prior to opening vial. Gently pipet solution down the sides of the vial. DO NOT VORTEX sample.
Store reconstituted material at -20°C and add 0.1% BSA for additional stability.

Target Information

This is a secreted chemokine which attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It belongs to the C-C subfamily of chemokines characterized by two adjacent cysteine residues. The protein is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2, an enzyme that degrades components of the extracellular matrix.
