The VetMAX™ African Swine Fever Virus I177L DIVA Reagents kit contains a single tube with the primer/probes and master mix needed for a qPCR assay targeting the ASFV-GΔI177L recombinant vaccine. It enables rapid testing and can be used as a reflex assay to differentiate infected animals from those vaccinated with the ASFV-GΔI177L recombinant vaccine after initial screening using the VetMAX™ African Swine Fever Virus Detection Kit (Cat. No. A28809). Positive controls for the assay are available separately (Cat. No. A59394).

African swine fever (ASF)는 돼지 및 멧돼지에게 매우 전염성이 높은 바이러스성 질병입니다. ASFV는 감염된 개체와의 직접 접촉 또는 감염된 연질진드기(soft tick)의 흡혈을 통해 빠르게 확산됩니다.
이 질병은 돼지고기 생산국에서 심각한 경제적 손실을 초래하며, 최근 일부 국가에서는 승인된 백신이 사용되고 있습니다.
감염 개체와 백신 접종 개체를 신속히 구분(DIVA, Differentiating Infected from Vaccinated Animals)하는 PCR 기반 검출은 질병 통제를 위해 필수적입니다.
