This antibody reacts with mouse IgG2a as determined by ELISA and IEP techniques and shows less than 1% cross-reactivity with mouse IgG1, IgG2b, and IgG3. It may cross-react with IgG from other species.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and have well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
