Target Information
The ASB7 protein belongs to the ankyrin repeat protein family and contains a C-terminal SOCS box motif. The SOCS box acts as a bridge between substrate-binding domains and E3 ubiquitin ligases, regulating protein turnover through polyubiquitination and proteasome-mediated degradation. Two alternative transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described.
