Target Information

TRAIL-R1 (CD261, DR4)는 type I transmembrane protein으로, TRAIL receptor 1이라고도 불립니다. 이 수용체의 리간드는 TNF 계열 단백질인 TRAIL로 알려져 있습니다. DR4는 다른 수용체(Fas, TNFR1 등)와 마찬가지로 다양한 세포와 조직에서 apoptosis 및 NF-κB 활성화를 매개합니다. Apoptosis는 다세포 생물의 정상적인 세포 분화 및 발달 과정에서 작동하는 프로그램된 세포 사멸 과정이며, TNF family의 cytokine과 그 death domain을 포함하는 수용체(TNFR1, Fas receptor)의 결합에 의해 유도됩니다.
