Target Information
Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response.
It consists of two heavy and two light chains and is involved in:
- Opsonization
- Complement activation
- Antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity
Mouse IgG1 also regulates immune responses, including T cell activation and inhibition of B cell activation.
