Product Specific Information
The 18d3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD94, a 70 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein. CD94 belongs to the C-type lectin superfamily and forms a heterodimer with NKG2 on the cell surface. It is expressed by NK cells, subsets of T cells, and NKT cells, playing a key role in adhesion and activation of NK lineage cells. DBA/2J mice lack CD94 and do not express CD94/NKG2A receptors.

Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Recommended to titrate for optimal performance.

Target Information
Natural killer (NK) cells expressing CD94 are lymphocytes that mediate cytotoxic activity and cytokine secretion upon immune stimulation. CD94 (KLRD1) is a type II membrane protein preferentially expressed on NK cells and associated with NKG2 family members. Three transcript variants encoding two isoforms have been identified for this gene.
