Tissue Extraction Reagent II is for ready-to-use bicine-based lysis buffer for total protein extraction from tissue samples by homogenization. Cell lysates prepared with Tissue Extraction Reagent II are compatible with immunoassays such as ELISA, western blot, and Luminex assay.
Buffer formulation: 25 mM Bicine, pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 2 mM Na3VO4, 1 mM NaF, 20 mM 4P2O7, 0.02% NaN3, detergent
This cell lysis buffer does not contain protease inhibitors and should be supplemented with 1 mM PMSF and protease inhibitor cocktail just prior to use.
Tissue Extraction Reagent II may be supplemented with salts, reducing agents or chelating agents as needed.
