Product Specific Information
- Tested in direct ELISA (For coating use antibody at 1–2 µg/mL).
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 1 mM EDTA (pH 7.5–8.5) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
C4 is a component of the classical complement pathway and is split by activated C1s to C4a and C4b. Together, C2a and C4b form the classical C3 convertase.
The molecular mass of C4 is 204 kDa and it consists of three subunits: α (97 kDa), β (75 kDa), and γ (33 kDa).
