Target Information

Anti-Hamster secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for hamster immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling use with multiple detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They provide enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
