Target Information

This gene encodes a protein containing nine WD repeats. WD repeats are approximately 30–40 amino acid domains with conserved residues, typically including a Trp-Asp motif at the C-terminal end. WD domains mediate protein–protein interactions. The encoded protein may promote actin filament disassembly. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
