Target Information
AHR (Ah Receptor)는 ARNT (HIF-1 Beta) 및 Drosophila 단백질 PER, SIM과 관련된 단백질 계열에 속합니다. AHR은 약 200개의 아미노산으로 구성된 PAS 도메인을 포함하며, 다양한 조직에서 발현되어 특정 DNA enhancer 서열에 결합하여 cytochrome P-450 (CYPIA1) 유전자의 전사를 유도합니다.
AHR은 planar aromatic hydrocarbons에 대한 생물학적 반응 조절에 관여하는 리간드-활성화 전사 인자입니다. AHR은 cytochrome P450과 같은 xenobiotic-metabolizing enzyme을 조절하며, 다양한 방향족 화합물(예: TCDD 등)이 그 리간드로 알려져 있습니다.
