Target Information
Zinc finger protein SNAI1 (SNAIL)은 아연 결합 전사 억제 인자로, 중배엽 및 신경능 형성 과정에서 외배엽 유전자 발현을 억제합니다.
SNAI1은 E-cadherin 억제 및 상피-간엽 전이(EMT) 유도에 관여하여 종양 침습과 관련이 있는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
유방암에서 SNAI1 또는 동족체 SNAI2(Slug)의 발현은 E-cadherin 억제, 전이, 재발, 불량한 예후와 관련이 있습니다.
또한 결장암의 간질(stroma) 내 Snail 1 단백질은 잠재적 예후 표지자로 제시되고 있습니다.
