Target Information
Cytokeratin 20은 케라틴 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 상피세포의 구조적 안정성을 유지하는 중간 필라멘트 단백질입니다. Type I cytokeratin은 산성 단백질로 구성되며, 이들은 서로 다른 keratin 사슬의 이합체 형태로 존재합니다. Cytokeratin 20은 성숙한 장 상피세포와 점액세포에서 주요하게 발현되며, 위 및 장 점막에서 특이적으로 발현됩니다. Type I cytokeratin 유전자는 염색체 17q12–q21 영역에 클러스터되어 있습니다.
