Allophycocyanin (APC)-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG is prepared from affinity-purified antibodies that react with IgG heavy chains and all classes of light chains from mouse.
This phycobiliprotein is optimally excited at 633 nm but can also be excited at 594 nm, allowing use with Texas Red or Alexa Fluor 594 dyes without an additional excitation source.
APC is suitable for flow cytometry and imaging applications and offers superior photostability compared to Cy5 conjugates.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins. Secondary antibodies provide versatility for multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification.
Typically, host animals are immunized with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and the antibodies are further purified or conjugated for high specificity.
