This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed in HEK293 cells. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

ACVR2B is a type II member of the TGF-beta family of receptor serine/threonine kinases and is involved in activin and myostatin signaling pathways. Activins and inhibins belong to the TGF-beta superfamily, sharing conserved cysteine residues typical of this family.

Seven type I and five type II activin receptors have been cloned from mammals, including activin receptor IA, IIA, IB, and IIB. Multiple splice variants of activin receptor IIA and IIB have also been reported.
