Specificity: Human CD62L/L-Selectin/SELL
Target Information
Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein and a member of the selectin family of adhesion receptors. It includes:
- An N-terminal C-type lectin binding domain
- An epidermal growth factor-like domain
- Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences similar to complement-binding proteins
- A short spacer region, transmembrane region, and cytoplasmic tail
L-Selectin is constitutively expressed on most leukocytes, including lymphocytes (except some memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
