Target Information
S100 단백질은 칼슘 결합 단백질(calcium-binding proteins) 계열에 속하며, calmodulin 및 troponin C와 유사한 구조를 가집니다.
S100A는 알파 및 베타 체인으로 구성되어 있고, S100B는 두 개의 베타 체인으로 구성되어 있습니다.
S100 단백질은 피부의 랑게르한스 세포(Langerhans cells) 및 림프절의 파라코텍스 내 상호접촉망상세포(interdigitating reticulum cells) 등 항원제시세포에서도 발현됩니다.
