Target Information
CYP3A7 유전자는 cytochrome P450 초과가족에 속하는 효소를 암호화합니다. 이 효소들은 약물 대사 및 콜레스테롤, 스테로이드, 기타 지질의 합성에 관여하는 monooxygenase로 작용합니다.
CYP3A7은 testosterone과 dehydroepiandrosterone 3-sulfate를 수산화하여 임신 중 estriol 형성에 관여하며, aflatoxin B1과 같은 약물 대사에도 관여합니다.
이 유전자는 염색체 7q21.1에 위치한 cytochrome P450 유전자 클러스터의 일부입니다. 여러 전사 변이가 보고되었지만, 이 변이들이 정상적으로 생성되는지는 알려져 있지 않습니다.
