Target Information
ATG10은 자가포식(autophagy)에 관여하는 단백질로, 세포질 내 구성 요소를 리소좀/액포를 통해 분해하는 과정에 필수적인 역할을 합니다.
자가포식소체 형성에는 두 가지 유비퀴틴 유사 변형(APG12p 결합 및 MAP-LC3의 막결합 형태로의 변형)이 필요하며, ATG10은 이러한 변형 과정에서 E2 유사 효소로 작용합니다.
ATG10은 ATG12-ATG5 결합 및 MAP1LC3A의 막결합 형태 변형에 관여하며, 인간 APG10L 유전자는 염색체 5q14.2에 위치합니다.
