Target Information
This gene encodes a protein identified in metastatic mammary adenocarcinoma cell lines. Expression correlates with metastatic potential in certain carcinomas but is also found in normal tissues. Initially thought to be part of the NuRD complex, it more likely represents a similar protein with shared domains, including DNA binding, dimerization, and methylation-related domains. It may regulate transcription through chromatin remodeling.
