Target Information
ZDHHC20 catalyzes palmitoylation of cysteine residues on target proteins. It acts on the cytoplasmic C-terminus of EGFR, modulating EGFR signaling by influencing palmitoylation-dependent internalization and degradation. Shows preference for acyl-CoA with C16 fatty acid chains, and can also utilize C14 and C18 acyl-CoA. [UniProt]
