Target Information
PTPMT1은 phosphatidylglycerophosphate(PGP)를 phosphatidylglycerol(PG)로 탈인산화하는 지질 인산분해효소로, 이는 심장지질(cardiolipin) 생합성 경로의 필수 중간체입니다. 또한 미토콘드리아 단백질의 탈인산화를 매개하여 ATP 생산에 중요한 역할을 하며, Ser/Thr 잔기에 인산화된 단백질에 대한 선호성을 보입니다. 췌장 베타세포에서 인슐린 분비 조절에도 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
