PPM1A (Protein phosphatase 1A)는 PPPM1A로도 알려져 있으며, PP2C 계열에 속하는 serine/threonine 단백질 인산화효소입니다.
이 효소는 진핵세포의 세포 스트레스 반응 조절에 필수적이며, 종양 억제에 중요한 역할을 하고 여러 신호전달 경로를 음성 조절합니다.
PPM1A는 포유류 세포의 세포질과 핵 모두에 분포하며, 대체 스플라이싱에 의해 생성된 두 가지 isoform을 가집니다.
