Target Information
TIMP1(metalloproteinase inhibitor 1)은 금속단백질분해효소 억제제로, 콜라게나제(collagenase) 등의 표적 금속단백질분해효소와 1:1 복합체를 형성하여 촉매 아연 보조인자에 결합함으로써 비가역적으로 불활성화시킵니다.
TIMP1은 MMP1, MMP2, MMP3, MMP7, MMP8, MMP9, MMP10, MMP11, MMP12, MMP14, MMP16에 작용합니다. 또한 세포 성장 인자로서 세포 분화, 이동 및 사멸을 조절하며, CD63 및 ITGB1을 통해 세포 신호 전달 경로를 활성화합니다.
