Target Information

Carbamyl-lysine is a modified amino acid that is formed through a non-enzymatic reaction between lysine and urea. It is primarily found in the body, specifically in proteins that are exposed to high levels of urea, such as in the kidney and liver. Structurally, carbamyl-lysine is formed by the addition of a carbamyl group to the lysine residue in proteins.
