For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Proteolytic degradation is essential for maintaining proper levels of short-lived and regulatory proteins involved in cellular metabolism, stress response, antigen presentation, receptor modulation, cell cycle regulation, transcription, and signaling.
The ubiquitin-proteasome pathway degrades most cytosolic and nuclear proteins, while others are processed via the vacuolar pathway (endosomes, lysosomes, endoplasmic reticulum).
The 26S proteasome, an ATP-dependent multisubunit complex (~2.5 MDa), consists of a 20S proteolytic core capped by 19S regulatory subunits that recognize ubiquitinated proteins and mediate their unfolding and translocation.
Defects in this pathway are linked to genetic diseases such as cystic fibrosis, Angelman’s syndrome, and Liddle syndrome.
