Target Information
CDCA2 (Cell division cycle associated 2, Repo-Man)는 세포 분열 주기 동안 단백질 인산화효소 1 (PP1)을 유사분열 염색질로 모집하는 단백질로, 세포 증식에 필수적입니다.
CDCA2는 Aurora B에 의해 Ser893 잔기에서 인산화되어 기능이 억제되며, PP2A에 의해 탈인산화되어 CDCA2/PP1 복합체가 재형성됩니다.
이 복합체는 히스톤 H3의 Thr3, Ser10, Ser28 잔기 탈인산화 및 핵막 재형성에 관여합니다.
또한 DNA 손상 부위에서의 CDCA2 해리로 DNA 손상 반응이 활성화되며, 이는 암 진행과 관련될 수 있습니다.
CDCA2의 과발현은 흑색종, 신경모세포종, 편평세포암, 활막육종 등 여러 암종에서 예후 지표로 제시됩니다.
