Target Information
MET receptor tyrosine kinase는 프로토온코진으로, 50 kDa α-chain과 145 kDa β-chain으로 구성된 이황화 결합 이합체(transmembrane receptor)입니다.
MET은 신장, 뇌, 폐, 피부, 배아 조직 등에서 광범위하게 발현되며, HGF(Hepatocyte Growth Factor) 결합 시 티로신 키나아제 활성이 유도됩니다.
MET은 췌장암, 대장암, 위암, 자궁경부암, 난소암 등 다양한 암종에서 과발현 및 활성화되어 있으며, 종양 세포의 이동 및 침윤에 관여합니다.
MET (Y1235D)는 MET의 자연적 변이 형태 중 하나입니다.
