Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the homer family of dendritic proteins. Members of this family regulate group 1 metabotropic glutamate receptor function. The encoded protein is a postsynaptic density scaffolding protein.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Two related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosome 14.
