Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
TROP2 is a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733.
It is a member of a family including at least two type I membrane proteins.
TROP2 transduces an intracellular calcium signal and functions as a cell surface receptor.
Mutations in the TROP2 gene cause gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe corneal amyloidosis leading to blindness.
