Myoregulin은 골격근 내 ATP2A1/SERCA1 ATPase의 활성을 억제하여 ATPase의 Ca(2+) 친화도를 감소시키며, 골격근 활동의 주요 조절자로 작용합니다. 성체 골격근에서 높은 발현을 보여 ATP2A1/SERCA1의 주요 조절인자로 추정됩니다.
