Target Information
Calponin은 얇은 필라멘트 관련 단백질로, 평활근 수축의 조절에 관여합니다. Actin, Calmodulin, Troponin C, Tropomyosin과 결합할 수 있으며, 평활근 및 평활근이 풍부한 조직에서 발현됩니다.
Calponin은 34kDa 및 29kDa 두 가지 isoform을 가지며, 29kDa isoform은 주로 비뇨생식계 근육에 발현됩니다.
또한 Calponin은 양성 및 악성 유방 병변의 근상피세포에서 발현이 확인되었으며, 평활근, 근상피세포, 근섬유모세포, 각질형성세포 및 신경섬유를 염색합니다.
유방 병변에서 근상피세포를 식별하며, collagenous spherulosis(양성)와 adenoid cystic carcinoma(음성)를 구분하는 데 도움을 줍니다.
타액선 종양의 adenoid cystic carcinoma에서도 Calponin 양성 반응을 보입니다.
