For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Alpha Tubulin is a subunit of the alpha-beta tubulin heterodimer, the fundamental building block of microtubules.
Microtubules are cylindrical filamentous structures present in nearly all eukaryotic cells, providing structural support, intracellular transport, and playing key roles in mitosis.
Alpha and beta tubulins are highly conserved and represent the major components of microtubules, while gamma tubulin is essential for microtubule nucleation.
The alpha tubulin gene is homologous to the mouse and rat Tuba1 gene and is predominantly expressed in morphologically differentiated neurological cells.
