Target Information
CD336, also known as NKp44 or NCR2, is a 44-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein of the natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) family containing an ITIM domain in the cytoplasmic tail. Expression and NK cell activation require association with DAP12, an ITAM-containing accessory protein. Initially identified on IL-2-activated NK cells and some γδ T lymphocytes, CD336 is also expressed on IL-3-stimulated plasmacytoid dendritic cells, intestinal αβ T cells, and cord blood T cells. It plays a role in innate immune responses against viral infection and tumor proliferation.
