Target Information
TGF beta-1 (TGFB1, Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1)는 거의 모든 조직에서 발견되는 변형 성장 인자 베타 슈퍼패밀리의 사이토카인 단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 세포 증식, 분화, 부착, 이동을 조절하며, 다양한 세포 유형에서 TGF beta 수용체를 통해 성장 인자들의 활성 조절에 관여합니다.
TGF beta-1은 잠재형(latent form)과 활성형(active form)으로 존재하며, 잠재형은 TGFB1, LAP, LTBP 복합체로 구성됩니다.
유전자의 과발현은 종양 세포에서 자주 관찰되며, Camurati-Engelmann 병 및 낭포성 섬유증과 관련된 돌연변이가 보고되었습니다.
