Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 패밀리에 속하는 막관통 당단백질로, 신경계에서 널리 발현되는 접착 분자입니다. 120–180 kDa 범위의 다양한 아이소폼이 존재하며, T 세포 및 NK 세포에서도 발견됩니다. CD56은 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 경로 탐색 및 시냅스 가소성에 관여합니다. 폴리시알산 변형은 CD56 매개 세포 접착을 감소시킵니다. CD56은 laminin 및 integrin과 같은 세포외 기질 성분과 결합하여 동종 및 이종 결합을 매개합니다. 대부분의 신경외배엽 유래 세포주, 조직 및 종양(예: 망막모세포종, 수모세포종, 성상세포종, 신경모세포종)에서 발현됩니다. 또한 CD56은 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 과립막세포 종양에 대해 높은 민감도를 가진 신경내분비 표지자로 널리 사용됩니다. CD56 기능 이상은 광견병 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm과 관련이 있습니다.
