For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a nuclear hormone receptor for triiodothyronine. It is one of several receptors for thyroid hormone and mediates the biological activities of thyroid hormone. Knockout studies in mice suggest that different receptors, while somewhat redundant, may mediate distinct functions of thyroid hormone. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
