Product Specific Information

- For IHC, epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections
- Based on 100% sequence identity, this antibody is predicted to react with Zebrafish and Orangutan
Target Information
cDNA encoding BCAS2 has been isolated. The deduced 225-amino acid protein contains a central potential N-glycosylation site and multiple N-terminal potential phosphorylation sites.
Northern and Southern blot analyses demonstrate expression of a 1.5-kb transcript at various levels in multiple breast cancer cell lines, with greatest amplification in BT-20 and MCF-7 cells.
BCAS2 is ubiquitously expressed in normal tissues.
