Target Information
DRP1(Dynamin-related protein 1)은 포유류 세포의 미토콘드리아 분열에 관여하는 단백질입니다. 정상 상태 및 세포사멸(apoptosis) 과정에서 미토콘드리아 절단에 중요한 역할을 하며, 세포 내 미토콘드리아의 적절한 분포에 필요합니다. 돌연변이 뉴런에서는 시냅스에서 미토콘드리아가 거의 관찰되지 않아, 시냅스 내 미토콘드리아의 역할을 평가하는 유용한 유전학적 도구로 활용됩니다.
